Why Do We Learn Science?
Why do we learn science? Well there are many reasons. Well, to answer this is much like answering why do we learn at all? Some things are just to know for the good of knowing, while other things are more necessesary to know. Like math and science for example, you need to know further on in life. Some classes are more like 'filler classes' like jewlery and art classes. Not that those arent useful in some aspects, but others are more universally useful. This brings us to why we learn science. We learn it to know how we are made and how the things around us work. If we understand that, we can better understand how to solve problems or why things happen the way that they do. Like Yunus said, we learn science to make new inventions. Without sciecne, there wouldn't nearly as many useful inventions. We also learn it so we can appreciate the things that we might otherwise tke for granted. It is also hard to not learn science because, as Amanda said, everything is science. Everything from the food that we eat to the seasons changing is science, and without understanding it there would be chaos. I agreed with what Madelyn when she said that science was for common sense, but i also think that many people learn science because they are curious and just want to learn. i know many people could care less, but a good amount i hope to believe want to learn just to learn more.
